Nestled merely 1.1 km from the Siem Reap Market, the fantastic Sokha Angkor Resort Siem Reap is proud to feature a private art gallery. Located a short way from the archaeological Angkor National Museum, the 5-star luxurious hotel has to offer an outdoor swimming pool onsite plus horse riding, cycling, and bicycle trips in the area.
The hotel has a tropical location in the centre of Siem Reap, approximately 5 minutes' walk from Lucky Mall Siem Reap. Tourist Information Office is within a few blocks of the comfortable Sokha, while Angkor International airport is 5 km from it. Guests might as well visit Royal Gardens, which is 500 metres away. There is the massive Angkor Wat Temple around 6 km away, and Mekong Express bus station is a mere 10 minutes on foot from the property.
Sokha Angkor Resort has 310 rooms, comprising a seating area. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels, along with tea/coffee making equipment, are offered. They are furnished with a traditional decor. Private bathrooms with a spa bathtub, a walk-in shower, and a separate toilet also feature shower caps and bath sheets for guests' extra comfort. You can enjoy views of the city.
Champa BAR and Lotus restaurants offer a wide variety of cuisines onsite, including Asian as well as French. There is an Asian restaurant with pool views on the site of the Sokha Siem Reap. Drinks are available at the lounge bar. It offers a terrace, and overlooks poolside views. You can visit a restaurant situated close by and taste Asian cuisine.

The purpose of my visit was to explore the cultural heritage surrounding Angkor Wat. I found the hotel to be exceptional in every aspect, with spacious rooms that provided remarkable comfort. Among the amenities, the outdoor swimming pool stood out as a particular highlight, offering a refreshing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet presented a generous selection, catering to various tastes. The staff's kindness and attentiveness further enhanced the experience.
